• Based on Work Keys (a product of ACT)

• Assesses and documents individual skill levels in three areas:

• Offers certification at three levels of achievement:

• Provides skill enhancement to meet individual goals for achievement

• Provides a summary report of workplace skills for use with job applications and/or resumes

• Opens job opportunities based on level of skill development:

• Developed as a three-part system that identifies, measures, and documents work-related skills

􀂾 Profiles: determine the skill areas and skill levels needed for specific jobs or occupational fields

􀂾 Assessments: measure individual skill levels

􀂾 Targets for Instruction: identify skill gaps and provide instructional intervention

• Work Keys assessments and skill enhancement are offered through participating Adult Education programs across the state

• Assessments are 45 minutes in length (for each skill area) and are offered in paper/pencil format

• Scoring is provided locally with quick feedback

• Instructors offer skill enhancement using classroom instruction and WIN software

• Individual and group score reports can be provided
