The athletic department at Blacksburg Middle School provides student athletes with the opportunity to compete in  five sports. Blacksburg Middle is a member of South Carolina Class A, Region 2

The free athletic physicals clinic will be held on Tuesday, May 7th in the Blacksburg High School gym. The clinic is for any student who wishes to play a sport at BHS or Blacksburg Middle school next year. Students will be given a form on Monday to be taken home and filled out by a parent or guardian (we are also attaching a blank form to this letter). The form has to be filled out and brought back to receive a physical on Tuesday. The clinic will start at 5:00 p.m. Track athletes and Babe Ruth baseball players who have a game will be allowed to come at 4:00 p.m. to get your physical. Football and volleyball players will wait until after practice on Tuesday to get theirs. Anyone who wishes to play a sport next year at Blacksburg High School or Blackswburg Middle school must have a new phyical on file to participate.
