Beta Club

The National Beta Club recognizes, academic achievement, promotes character, develops leadership skills, encourages service involvement, and provides technological advantages to students in grades 5 - 12. The purpose of the National Beta Club shall be to promote the ideals of character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students, to reward meritorious achievement and to encourage and assist students in continuing their education after high school
To qualify for National Junior Beta Club, a student must be in the 5th grade and have an overall 4th grade average of 93. Members must maintain an average of at least 90 each nine weeks, as well as display good character and leadership skills.
Student Council
Student Council consists of student officers and representatives who share students' ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and the principal. They help the students raise funds for school projects. They assist with community service projects. Being on Student Council helps students become responsible citizens and grow as leaders.
Honor Roll
Students are recognized in an assembly each nine weeks if they have made an A or B on each subject on their report card. Their names are published in the school newsletter.
School Store
Students operate a school store each morning before school selling paper, pencils, erasers, composition notebooks, etc. for students' convenience.
Good News Club
The Good News Club is an afterschool activity sponsored by Draytonville Baptist Church and Child Evangelism Fellowship, Inc. It teaches biblical principles, moral values, character qualities, and respect for authority. Parents must fill out a permission form before students can attend.
