• Taylor Covington has won the Veterans Day Essay Contest for 2011.  This is her sixth time winning this contest.
• She is the South Carolina State YMCA swimming champion for 11-12 year olds.
• She lettered in a varsity sport at the high school.
• Taylor also just completed a photo shoot in New York City for the transit system, via her agent.

The PSAT will be given on Wednesday, October 13, 2010.  Seventh or eighth graders wishing to take the test must pay $13.00 to Mrs. Wray or Mrs. Kite in the Guidance Office by October 4th.

Students will be taking the second portion of the PASS tests May 11th – May 14th.  It is very important that students be present and on time on testing dates. 

Test-taking tips:  *Go to bed early the night before *Eat a good breakfast

Parents and students are reminded that PASS Writing tests will be administered on March 16th and 17th.  Students are encouraged to be present, on time, and well-rested.
