GAFFNEY MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT COUNCIL  OFFICERS 2012-2013

STUDENT COUNCIL CLASSROOM REPRESENTATIVES

Each advisory class will elect two student council representatives. These students will represent their advisory class in student council meetings every 2nd Tuesday and 4th Thursday, unless otherwise notified. The meetings will be from 3:30-4:00 pm, in room 224. All rides must be in the keyhole at 4 pm.

Tentative Dates for Student Council Meetings:

September 11 & 27; October 9 & 25; November 13 & 29; December 11; January 8 & 24; February 12 & 28; March 12 & 28; April 9 & 25.

Student Council members must motivate their classes to help with various activities and community service projects:

OCTOBER – socks, brushes, lotion, hard candies, toothpaste, magazines, books, and other items are collected for our friends, family, and respected elders at Peach Tree Center for their Halloween Celebration.

DECEMBER – new toys for Toys for Tots (this usually begins in November so that we may help as many needy children as possible). We work with the Gaffney High School ROTC, and have collected over 300 gifts each year for the past 5 years.
