I want to thank everyone who helped make Thursday, October 27 such an amazing day at Grassy Pond Elementary! “Pink Out” Day in honor of Mrs. Tracy Ruppe was a truly wonderful day at our school. This year we have decided that “Gators Go Pink for a Cure” will be the theme for Grassy Pond’s Relay for Life team, and we wanted to do our fundraising in honor of Mrs. Ruppe. When the idea came to us and the planning began, no one had any idea what wonderful things would come from our special day! Because we have such amazing students, teachers, faculty, and parents at Grassy Pond “Pink Out” was more than we could have ever hoped for! Mrs. Ruppe was surprised as well as overwhelmed by all we did in her honor. Thanks to the hard work, donations, and items sold we have already raised close to $2500 for Relay for Life. I hope that before all is said and done we will raise much more. It is truly a worthy cause. Being here at Grassy Pond is a blessing each day, and I thank all of you for all you do to make our school exceptional!
