Vision Statement: In partnership with our families and

community, Granard Middle School's vision is to provide

a safe, supportive environment so that all of our

                                                               learners become educated, productive citizens

SCHOOL OF CHOICE STATEMENT

Students will be assigned to the school that serves his/her legal place of residence as determined by the board for the current school year.  Parents wishing to request a change in school assignment must complete a         District/Transfer School Choice form at their home school.  The home school will date the form when received and retain a copy for their files.  Parents must then submit the original form to the receiving school between February 1 and March 1.  Transfers received after March 1 deadline will not be approved.  Transfers will be based on availability of space as long as the student to teacher ratio does not exceed a number to be determined each year by the district in the receiving school.  Transfers will be on first come, first served basis and will not be changed during a school year.  The Parent/Legal Guardian and the home school will be notified by June 30 regarding the status of the transfer.  Parents must provide transportation for those    students attending a school outside of their assigned attendance area.      Parents must provide transportation for those students attending a school outside of their assigned attendance area.

Granard Middle School's PTO recently donated a much needed wheelchair to our school's infirmary. We would like to thank our super PTO for such a wonderful gift. This is just another example of how our every aspect of our school comes together to meet all of our students needs in every capacity!

Thank you PTO! You folks are the BEST!!

You personify "Excellence without Excuses!"
