Student Council will be selling “Make-A-Wish” stars for 50 cents each on Thursday and Friday starting at 7:30 a.m. If you purchase a star then you will be entered for a chance to win an ice cream treat from McDonald’s.

We would like to congratulate Mrs. Cathy Parker’s Class for winning the Cans for Kids food drive which was held in December. Mrs. Cathy Parker’s class brought a total of 215 canned items. They will get to enjoy a pizza party. Thanks to everyone that participated in this worthy cause to provide food for needy families in Cherokee County during the holiday season.
We will be collecting cans for needy families in Cherokee County. These cans will be distributed to various organizations in town that help families during the holiday season. We will collect cans until December 14th. The class that collects the most items will receive a pizza party. Please do your part to help your class win!
Last week Student Council raised $ 74.50 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation by selling stars and Gaffney Indian tattoos. Thanks to everyone that participated in this worthy cause.
Our Limestone Student Council supports the American Heart Association. The Student Council will have Valentine’s available for purchase from February 8th- February 14th for 25 cents.Students may send Valentine’s to family members,teachers, and friends.We believe in the American Heart Association and we thank everyone for supporting this important project.
Our school brought a whopping 86 pounds of candy. The class who brought the most candy was Mrs. Cathy Parker’s class. They brought 22 pounds of candy and will win an ice cream party. The candy was used to make 400 Halloween candy bags for the Cherokee County residents who receive Meals on Wheels. We are proud of all the students who brought in some candy for this service project.

Our pet food drive was an absolute success because of you!
We collected over 935 pounds of dog/cat food for needy pets throughout Cherokee County. That’s an average of almost 2.5 pounds per student!
Mrs. Casey Williams’ class collected 268.5 pounds of food. Their class will receive a pizza party. Mrs. Cathy Parker’s class will receive a cupcake party for collecting 203 pounds of food.
