South Carolina's K-12 Curriculum Standards define what students must know and be able to do as they progress through school.
The development of South Carolina's world-class curriculum standards took five years and involved thousands of educators, parents, community and business leaders, school board members, and state legislators. They describe very specifically what students must demonstrate to show that they have mastered the content.
