Northwest Elementary Mission Statement

The mission of Northwest Elementary, in conjunction with family and community, is to ensure all students gain skills necessary to achieve personal excellence and to become responsible citizens in a global society by providing challenging educational programs and experiences in a safe and nurturing environment.

	Children are our first priority.
	Education is the responsibility of the entire community and that learning is the responsibility of the individual.
	High expectations promote high levels of achievement.
	A safe and nurturing environment is essential.
	All individuals can learn and they can learn in different ways.
	Individuals are responsible for the choices they make.
	The family is crucial to the development, success, and well being of the individual.
