            quality education. We are dedicated to advancing student achievement by recruiting and
            employing the highest quality staff for the Cherokee County School District and to serve those
            with whom we work. The school district’s human resources function is to ensure that the district
            attracts, retains, and develops the kind  of human resources needed for students to have
            the skills necessary to compete and succeed as responsible citizens in a global society.

            The Human Resources office organizes and plans the employment process for over 710 certified
            employees and 870 support employees. Duties include recruiting, screening, selecting, induction,
            and evaluation as outlined in our Board Policy.
