 ATHLETIC TRAINER
GAFFNEY HIGH SCHOOL
QUALIFICATIONS:

 


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. A Valid State (South Carolina) Athletic Training Certification
  2. A Valid National Athletic Training Certification

 

  • To provide care and prevention of athletic injuries including rehabilitation, while keeping the mental and physical welfare of the athlete as the top priority.
  • Develop and supervise appropriate rehabilitation programs for athletes under the direction of the physician.
  • Must be present at all varsity football games and practices and half of the JV and 9th grade games.  Must be present at all varsity boys basketball games.
  • Responsible for the treatment and supervision of treatment for all minor athletic injuries.
  • Shall perform other duties as assigned by the athletic director and coaches related to safety, prevention, and care of athletic injuries.
