Unit Description

Gaffney High School Air Force JROTC (AFJROTC) is a course that provides leadership education in a high school setting. Its goal is to develop better citizens for the community and nation. The program instills the Air Force Core Values in each cadet and a sense of pride in the community.

The cadet corps is among the best, having attained “Distinguished Unit” status each and every year (8 straight years!!), and is ranked in the top ten percent of AFJROTC units. The cadets of SC-041 are one of the reasons why Gaffney High School has earned the reputation as “School of CHAMPIONS!”
