Message from the Superintendent Greetings. It has been my pleasure to serve as Superintendent of Schools for several months now, and I appreciate the opportunity. Our mission statement is, "The Cherokee County School District will ensure that all students have the skills necessary to succeed as responsible citizens." This is a bold statement and one that I admire. During my tenure in Cherokee County, I will strive to create an environment that will allow and encourage each of our students to succeed. I hope that you find our website to be helpful and user friendly. Please do not hesitate to contact the District Office if we can be of service to you. Sincerely, Edgar Taylor
